Inspired by @Samtian 's new year's resolution and the 100 Days of Lipstick Challenge started by @snoflakefaerie ! I thought it would be fun to do the same thing with eyeshadows!!
I have so many eyeshadow shades I never wear! The 100 days of lip challenge has really encouraged me to branch out! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to make my way through my whole collection using different shades each day! Share some eye looks or swatches - whatever's easier!
Nothing too exciting for shades 37-39. Too Faced White Peach in Glistening Peach, Peach Sorbet and Sweet Fig. Pretty standard look for me, although I will say that glistening peach on a brush sprayed with setting spray is INSANE. I didn’t expect how gorgeous it would be. Unfortunately by the time I remembered to take a pic i had already left the house, and the look was pretty faded when I got back home. I’ve used 4 shades out of this palette so far, but I think I’ll start having to incorporate other palettes because as a stand-alone, I just don’t find it has everything I need for a variety of looks.
@cianni ,
White Peach is a pretty palette, though, even if you need to draw from other palettes.
@tsavorite it’s actually been helpful intergrating other palettes that don’t get a lot of use - especially my Smashbox Photo Matte, which I thought I’d use a lot for work but I’m really a shimmer and glitter kinda girl so it’s hard for me to use it as a stand-alone palette
@cianni how is the formula? Is it the same as the chocolate bar palettes? The colours you used look so pretty!
@ather I have not used the too faced chocolate bar palette, but I find the mattes in the white peach, peach mattes and gold chocolate are very consistent
@ather I haven’t used a chocolate bar palette in ages so that I can’t really comment on (maybe @lmaster can provide insight? I know you used the chocolate gold palette the other day to make a beautiful look using that green shade!). But I find the formula pretty nice! The lighter mattes are maybe a touch powdery (mostly peach cream, I don’t have too much of an issue with sweet fig), but I don’t have any issues with blending or fallout. And I like that there are multiple “shimmer” finishes. Peaches and dreams and creme de la peach have very dispersed microglittter, so they’re ok for a bit of glitter in the daytime, glistening peach is a true shimmer with beautiful color payoff, and then peach ice and peach passion are almost loose glitter so I need glitter glue and a glitter applicator or my fingers to apply them
@cianni Thank you! Awesome to know. I always wonder if they have a good feel because I’m not close to a store anymore and I can’t try them out. It’s always so nice to hear what people think!
If I ever talk or post something and you watch swatches just let me know! I’d be happy to do some for you ☺️ @ather
@cianni I bet you create some beautiful looks with that palette! I didn't buy it for the same reason you mentioned - I think it needs to be paired with other palettes - but I'm excited to see what you do with it.
@tastelikewater I picked it up on a weekly wow on a whim in the summer, otherwise I would have passed for the same reason you did - luckily I own 10000 shades that can be paired with it so I can make it work 😂 just not as a travel palette, which is a bummer but not the end of the world haha. I’ll try to remember to actually take a photo next time🤦🏽♀️
yay what a great palette to be using @cianni
@lmaster yeah you always have such great looks with it! It’s why I pulled it out to start using mine haha. I can’t stop smelling it LOL it’s sooo good
@cianni oh it does smell so good!! Love peaches 🍑
ND Gold: Dijon, Sandstone, Alchemist, Lime Chrome, a smudge of Python on the outer third lash line. Lime Chrome (above my iris) is so stunning in the sunlight!
Yes! Beautiful with your eye color!
@tastelikewater Wow such a pretty colour!
So beautiful with your eye color @tastelikewater
