which is better for dry skin tarte clean slate, or recreate?

I am looking to buy tarte foundation primer, i use tarte recreate liquid foundation i have never used primer before.I am looking for the primer to help my makeup to last longer, and for my face to be a smooth canvas to work with for applying makeup, i do have dry skin a little, which would be better for me tarte clean slate or tarte recreate primer?

I would perhaps try clean slate first if you absolutely must go with Tarte. However, I have to agree that the Korres antiaging  primer is fabulous. I am a junkie when it comes to base makeup and the Korres one was the primarly reason I no longer reach for my silicone based primers. The Korres one gives a nice silky feel yet it feels a lot more natural on my skin. However if you really like silicone based primers another one I like is the Lancome La Base pro.

Are you married to the idea that it must be Tarte? If not, consider Korres Primer, it acts like a cream when you put it on, but leaves a whisper-light barrier between your skin and makeup, and it doesn't have a lot of fussy and potentially irritating ingredients in it.

Try the clean slate first. If you are in need of more moisture (not sure how dry you are, or the weather where you are), switch up to the other one.
