Hello!I have dry skin too - I find when I can't seem to find a good cream or lotion, I use some of Josie Maran's "Milk a serum almost and it helps! Belif makes a good lotion too - there's the aqua bomb and the hydrating one and the hydrating one is the one that works best for me in the winter. Good luck!

Hi @aleditti,   I recommend looking into the NARS - Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation! It's medium to full coverage, and gives off a radiant finish so it never makes your drier areas more prominent. In my opinion, this foundation looks better the longer you wear it. I also would recommend the TOO FACED - Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer, it's also full coverage but the consistency of this concealer is lightweight and blend-able! I hope this helps   -Helen

Hi @tacolover1,   I recommend using a hydrating face primer under your foundation.  Some of my favorites are LAURA MERCIER - Foundation Primer - Hydrating and TOO FACED - Hangover Replenishing Face Primer.  I usually like to mix a hydrating primer and foundation together on my hand before applying.   I hope this helps!   Best, Steph

Hi and thanks for the Giorgio Armani recommendation! I was sent a sample and it was the best foundation I ever wore.I have mature, dry skin and it wore like a dream! It’s a little too costly for me at this time of year when I am buying for everyone else! Does it ever go on sale or could you recommend any dupes? Thanks so much and happy holidays! 🎄🎄🎄

Hi @MarissaAshleigh,   You have some great recommendations! I would also recommend looking into the DR. JART+ - Ceramidin™ Cream, I used this when I had slight dermatitis and it really added the much needed moisture my skin needed. I find that in the summer I'm able to get away with wearing more matte foundations than I can in the winter just because my winter skin gets so dry. I really like glowy and dewy looks for the winter. Yves Saint Laurent All-in-one glow has been my favourite. https://www.sephora.com/ca/en/product/touche-clat-all-in-one-glow-foundation-P431005 I also use DIOR - BACKSTAGE Face & Body Foundationaand mix a bit of the tarte tinted moisturizer in to make it a bit dewier

I think it mostly depends on what look you're going for, @debramoo. For me most days, I stick to coral, mauve, and berry shades for blushes and lipsticks. But that's changeable depending on my mood. My go-to eyeshadow shades are usually browns, golds, and neutrals, but I'm also known to love a good purple. Is there a specific product you're interested in?

Personally for me the Kora Organics, Noni Glow Face Oil has been amazing!! I have really dry skin, with acne scars and some dark spots and this has helped tremendously! It recently came to Sephora and i decided to give it a go, and it has worked wonders. It hydrates and helps with uneven texture and uneven tones and dark spots. #HolyGrail

Might be different since it's a slightly different location, but I had this persistent crack/cut on my nostril that wouldn't heal for months and months. I tried a ton of different things (moisturizers, neosporin, etc) and the only thing that worked was Bite Beauty's agave lip mask, at night, several nights in a row. I think because it contains lanolin, which is a main ingredient for a lot of healing creams. So if you can find a product with lanolin on here or in your local drugstore, one of those might help? If you try it, and it closes, maybe keeping putting stuff on it for a few days after. That'll keep skin moisturized, give it more time to heal, so it doesn't crack back open. Just fyi, you *don't* want to use this if you're vegan, and it can sometime be a skin allergen. (Also I just noticed the date on the original post, so I dearly hope you aren't still having this problem! But I'll send this anyway in case anyone else needs it!)

@ArianaMichelle Hi. You may want to look into a serum, facial oil, or moisturizer that hydrates your skin. As for a facial wash, maybe a cleansing oil will help. I would just be sure to follow up with a hydrating water-based cleanser. Hope this helps!
