I like cleansing oils too. They remove makeup well, better than anything else, and keep skin soft.
Try a serum primer first before your favorite moisturizer. Helps to lock moisture into the skin, and makeup glides on smoothly.
L'occtiane makes a great shower oil for the body too, to hydrate and clean.

Kinerase "Cream" is a great intensive facial moisturizing cream and you can find it at: http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P234613&categoryId=B70
However, if your skin is dry to the point of cracking from the weather, I'd recommend First Aid Beauty "Ultra Repair Cream" which is for anyone with severely dry, scaly skin due to harsh winter weather, aggressive cosmetic treatments, or any of the following conditions: atopic dermatitis, irritant eczema, allergic eczema, and keratosis pilaris. You can find it at: http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P248407&categoryId=C23560
I hope this helps you.

I suggest pretty much the same thing as as allegrissima. Besides just switching to better moisturizing products though you should also add exfoliation if you aren't doing that already. A few morinings a week I give my face a gentle scrub with Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream but any gentle buffing exfoliator will do.

I have the same problem. What I do is change my products slightly. Instead of using a foaming cleanser, I use a milky cleanser, and instead of lotion for moisturizer, I switch to cream and add serum.
It is only a slight change but it works.
