Notice small bumps when using Foundation. goes away when no makeup

Hello,

I recently noticed that after I apply foundation, i see little raised bumps(not acne type but minor).

They go away when I dont wear any makeup.

It happens will all foundations.

Is there a makeup step I am not doing or doing wrong that may be the cause?

Hi i have the same problem! Ur foundation too thick! id try a lighter foundation or what i do is use a sponge blender helps with smoothing it evenly and i put a bit of oil on the sponge like jojaba oil is my personal favorite hydrates and makes ur skin so soft if u cant find that oil theres ultra repair cannabis and oat dry oil by first aid beauty that does the same thing and u can get it at sephora!

@ShriandSassy   That sounds like a tough problem to have. .

If you'd like to try a primer, I think this YSL one, Touche Eclat Blur, is very, very good.  It applies smoothly and really helps the skin to have a smoother surface.

Another thing you may want to consider is if you are having an allergic reaction to the foundations or getting clogged pores from them?  If I wear products with silicone too often, I seem to get little bumps on my forehead.

Milk Makeup makes a silicone-free foundation called Blur Liquid Matte foundation.

Could it be that you are just noticing more texture when you wear foundation? I can definitely see bumps and pores better when I wear foundation.

Some primers help smooth out your skin slightly, so that might help minimize the appearance of the bumps.
