Makeup Tips for Dry Skin in NYC

Hi Beauts--

Is anyone able to help me with this??

So I put NYC in the title because the subway is like a sauna 365, 24/7.

I have dry skin and the second I step foot on the subway platform, my face goes hay-wire. I start sweating and if I dare try to use a foundation, it's melting off my face. Sun, rain, snow, doesn't matter.

Any suggestions on limiting my face from sweating so much?

A good foundation that doesn't budge, or transfer?

Also, one that I can put on my dry skin?

Any tips at all?

:'(

Thanks in advance.

Please @ me so I'm notified.

Hey I suggest you use a hydrating primer and a powder foundation. That what works for me.

Do you also have dry skin?

In your opinion, do you think that a powder foundation could give me full coverage?

Have you tried doing your normal foundation and using a setting spray? Urban decay one is the best.

Thank you for replying. I do have the Urban Decal All-Nighter but I sometimes feel that it's not enough.

What would be your recommendation to setting a dewy look?

I've also looked into foundations more on the "waterproof" end and think that would be a good idea. I've also been met with the hurdle of finding a good matte foundation that is friendly to dry skin.

Is a setting spray or setting powder preferred over the other when going for a dewy vs matte look?
