Hydrating serum Non Hyaluronic acid ??

I have very dehydrated skin, when you look at me can see a wrinkly/dry skin film. I live in California, it's very dry climate here, so hyaluronic acid doesn't work for me as there aren't any moisture in the air for the product to absorb into my skin. I drink a lot, but a lot of water, and nothing seems absorbed. Any serum, skincare suggestions?

It's not marketed as a serum per say but I use the Simple Hydration Booster. It's a lightweight gel that sinks right in and leaves my skin soft and hydrated. Loving it.

Hi, i use belif hungarian water essence which is a light serum before i put on moisturizer. I love how light it is and how quickly it absorbs into the skin but still works. I no longer have dry patches and can actually get away with using light moisturizers now.
