My skin has been so dry and flaky lately what should I use

I always have this situation in autumn too... I've tried different methods but unfortunately nothing helps me. I'm thinking about a vitamin A and E complex that I found at Canadian pharmacy and it should help the skin from the inside. But I would also like to find an effective external remedy that would help throughout the day

@martina11  When my skin gets like that I like to add in a barrier repair cream. My favorite is Glossier After Baume Moisture Barrier Recovery Cream 1.7 oz / 50 mL

@martina11  A few questions for you:

1. What do you currently use on your skin (brands + product names)? 
   
   
2. Is your skin normally dry and it’s just extra dry lately? Or is it normally oily, combo, or balanced—not particularly dry or oily anywhere? (Some folks call balanced “normal,” but I consider “normal” to be whatever your skin type/behavior usually is. For instance, mostly-dry combo is my skin’s normal behavior.) 
   
   
3. Do you have a budget or price cap?
