Dry skin

I have terribly dry skin and I have to use coconut oil because moisturizer doesn't seem to work. I use Laura mercer setting powder so my makeup stays. But I only use in areas I apply concealer then I use my amazing coverfx illuminating setting spray.. what are some good tips for dry skin?
