Beauty community - HELP

Ok beauty community. I’ve spent the last couple of years perfecting my skin care and makeup routine at TikTokU. I feel like I’ve gotten my skin care down. Face wash: a variation of Micellar cleansing water, cerave gentle cleanser, and cleansing balm. Eye cream: mix between skin fx and a hydrating cream. Toner: glow recipe wayermelon toner. Serum: switch between laniege hydrating serum and tower 28 redness. Moisturizer: tatcha. Exfoliate every other day with wishful.

This makeup was flawless and for a wedding. I used milk hydro grip primer and just a tinted moisturizer by urban decay.

This, however, was for work yesterday. I used the same skincare routine, but changed to haus lab foundation. The second I put my sunglasses on, it was a nightmare. It immediately started to cake off. I do sweat, quite a lot, specifically on my face. Which is great. I tried to put powder and setting spray, that was all I had. Nothing helped. Any suggestions?

@xTinaMarie2  I have dry skin and I could not get the Haus foundation to work for me. It looked cakey no matter how I tried it.

Re: Beauty community - HELP

@xTinaMarie2 you can try mixing in a bit of serum to the foundation to help thin it out maybe? You could try applying your setting spray before you set with powder (let it dry down a bit) and then spray again after you powder to set the whole look.
I also sweat a lot and live in a state that’s really hot lol so it’s important to make sure you don’t overpowder. If you’re using a brush to blend it in try using a damp beauty blender instead.
With all that being said though, i’ve seen some people (specifically people with dry skin) say that the haus labs foundation just didn’t sit well on their face and started to separate throughout the day. So this could just not be the foundation for you unfortunately.
