Re: Advice needed

Hello love!

I see that you said you're struggling with oily skin. let's start there! 🙂

For my oily skin girlies when it comes to skincare you definitely want to go with a gel like moisturizer. if you're wanting a recommendation I would definitely recommend the Glow Recipe Watermelon Pink Juice moisturizer, Its very light weight and won't make your skin feel greasy or to heavy. its also available in a mini size for $20 dollars on Sephora so you can try without breaking the bank! you definitely want to keep the skin hydrated. *oily skin is often a sign of dehydrated skin* to hydrate the skin even more I highly recommend the glow recipe plum plump serum! its once again a gel like formula that leaves the skin feeling hydrated without feeling greasy, its base is hyaluronic acid which is a great ingredient that focuses on hydration! I'd recommend using It at night mostly however a small amount before your makeup application and let it absorb into the skin for about 5-10 minutes before you apply your makeup 🙂

now for makeup. I would highly recommend staying away from dewy/hydrating base products. makeup more on the matte side is definitely going to be your friend! you'll want a matte primer! Milk makeup has an amazing matte primer:)  One size beauty also has great options for oily skin. their foundation is great. not super heavy and has a nice finish 🙂 you're also going to want a good LOOSE setting powder. One size has great options and a variety of shades to choose from! you want to set that makeup down with powder to help the natural oils from breaking down your makeup 🙂 for your bronzer, blush and highlight powders of your choosing will work great as well! (Charlotte tilbury has great options for all 3 of those) 🙂 but if you're looking for some a little more affordable the too faced chocolate bronzers and the cloud crush blushes are fantastic. I use them both frequently. for highlight that all depends on the level of shine you want. if you want to GLOW the rare beauty highlighters are stunning and very fairly priced and for more subtle glow I would recommend honestly the Charlotte tilbury pressed highlighters! they give a very glow from within kind of vibe 🙂 for eyeshadow I highly highly highly recommend Anastasia Beverly hills eyeshadow palettes! they blend super easily and last all day! I would definitely check out the soft glam palette! its a great beginner palette with stunning bendable shades. They'll always be one of my top faves! the last product I would recommend for you to lock all this into place is the one size on till dawn setting spray. your makeup will not budge! it locks it all down and makes make last! its perfect for oily skin! I'd also invest in some blotting papers do blot away excess oils thoughout the day!

I really hope this helps girlie! let me know if you have any questions ❤️ xoxo
