I could use some advice on self-tanning for those of us who are already naturally tanned. My skin usually has a light golden brown hue that turns into a rich cinnamon shade during the summer. I’m looking to use self-tanner to even out my skin tone and enhance my overall complexion, especially during the off-season. Has anyone with a similar skin tone tried this before?

@JazzyXoXo2020 Findination is a great starting point, like @CookieGirl1 suggested. If you can, go in store, too to get them swatched on your chin and neck. If not, put as many complexion products that are your closest match into findination or any match tool and see what comes up most frequently. Sometimes your undertone might give an odd suggestion, as I tend to either get no matches or something way too light/yellow if I use only one product. Sometimes, I don't even get a match 😅

You can sometimes contour with bronzer (and blush), it depends on the desired effect and undertones @ykitznaia . I also think of contouring as playing with light and darkness, the contour is to add depth. If I use bronzer to contour, it's usually to add a shadow and focus on the light areas or areas I want to make noticable. I usually do that on my forehead and temples. Occasionally my nose bridge. To chisel or define something, then I definitely need a contour, which is cooler in tone than a bronzer. I would look to specific brands for contour, just because you'll likely find a better variety to suit your undertone and not run into the gray/dust trap when the selection is narrow. LYS Beauty No Limits Cream Bronzer and Contour Stick Strength , Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Match Stix Matte Contour Skinstick , Danessa Myricks Beauty Balm Contour , Danessa Myricks Beauty Groundwork: Defining Neutrals - Palette For Eyes, Brows, Face & Lips (this is a multi use palette, I like it for contour)

@danielledanielle @pringels Ah, I forgot about UOMA by Sharon C. Walmart might also still carry some of those products. I also forgot Coloured Raine. 🤦‍♀️ They’ve got some pigmented palettes. I still have most of their Vivids single-pan shadows, which are now available in a palette.
