Lancome Turns Ashy

I've tried 540W, 550C and 555C in Lancome's Teint Idole foundation. 540 and 550 apply beautifully and 555c is way too dark. 20-30mins after applying, 540 is too light and turns ashy; 550 is too dark and ashy; 555 is like painting a really dark grey on my face. is anyone else having issues with the foundation turning ashy no matter what shade you try?

It may be your primer. Try a different primer and/or face powder. I wore Lancome and never had a problem.

I’ve been living in 500 Suede for years. It does so well 24/7 that every time I try something different I always come back.

What are you putting either underneath (moisturizers and skin care) or on top (powders) ?
