Bronzer or contour??

Hey y'all!! First of all this group thing is lit ayye!! Anyway, i'm debating getting the mocha mami bronzer from Fenty. But it looks too red for my taste. So i guess i am looking for a more neutral brown powder. But should it be a bronzer or a contour product? Im in shade 440 pro filtr foundation. Any recomandations?

Well a bronzer is meant to warm up the skin so they are usually warmer. A contour is meant to give a shadow so they tend to be cooler. If you don’t want warm tones go for a contour. I used the hoola toasted “bronzer” as a contour because it’s so cool. I’m 420 in fenty as a reference.

I was thinking about getting Mocha Miami as well, but landed on Hoola Toasted by Benefit (recommended by a fellow melenated Sephora employee)

Honestly, I use both. I like to use a cream contour and set with a powder bronzer. For me, it creates fewer harsh lines and a more natural buff up. That said, very few lines have darker bronzers without them being too red. Have you checked out Mented Cosmetics or Lip Bar?
