purchased something using same day delivery but it was delivered to the wrong address

Please help, I am so worried.

Explanation: I was participating in a gift exchange at work, but I caught the flu and couldn’t go to work or shop in person. To make up for it, I used same day delivery, as there was a free delivery code available. I ordered a few of her favorite makeup products. Once I got the notification that the order was on its way, I messaged the delivery driver and asked him to knock on her door and hand the package to her directly instead of leaving it outside. However, the driver ignored my request and replied that he had already dropped it off, telling me to let her know to go get it.

I didn’t think much of it at the time and immediately told my friend that her gift had been delivered. I even sent her the proof of delivery photo to help her locate it. She then told me that the chair shown in the photo wasn’t at her house and that she doesn’t have any furniture like that outside her front door. Realizing the package had been delivered to the wrong address, I contacted Sephora support through their live chat. I explained the situation to the advisor, who then tried to issue a refund but later told me they were unable to provide a refund or a replacement. When I asked her why, she completely ignored my question and ended the chat.

Please help, this same thing just happened to me TWICE in the same week. I was refunded the first time so I placed the order again, and I can see in the photo that it was delivered to the same incorrect address that I don’t recognize. I just lost $200. There’s clearly a bug in the Uber delivery system and customer service said they couldn’t refund me because they had just resolved a similar issue.
