birthday gift options show up but "add" button is greyed out

I cannot select birthday gifts to add, the "add" button is greyed out for every single one? I have over 25$ of stuff in my cart, the option to look at the birthday gifts shows up in my cart because it is within the time frame for my birthday so i don't understand why I can't add anything to cart
