Wrong birthday gift...can I exchange?

I went to Sephora yesterday to pick up my birthday gift. I wasn't asked which one I wanted and without noticing, I was given the Fresh gift instead of the Benefit gift. Is it possible to go back and switch it out? Can I do it at a different store? The one I went to is a ways away and the closest store is inside JCP.

Also, are free samples no longer given at checkout? I don't know if these things changed or if I just had a crummy visit this time.

Its possible that maybe your store ran out of the gift but you can definitely visit another or the same one if you'd like to swap for the new gift! Make sure you have your receipt and a cast member can gladly assist you.

As for samples, they're given out at stores discretion-so while some locations are very generous and love to give them away, not all of the locations have the same idea. I'll be glad to forward your feedback to the store if you let me know which specific location you were at. 🙂
