Where's the August monthly gift?

Will VIBs get the August monthly gift email during the point event? It's usually sent out in the first 2 weeks of the month but I didn't get anything yet. I have already missed sets that I wanted because I bought what I needed a few days before the email. Will this email be sent out on a specific date/day of the week in the future? It already barely feels like a "gift" when I have to spend $35 to get it, but missing out because I don't know when I'll get the code means it isn't "monthly" either...
