Weird email glitch - got demoted to Beauty Insider for a minute [RESOLVED]

Just wanted to make it known if it happens to anyone else: I've been active in this community chat side of things for barely a week, and suddenly today I ended getting emails that I I just joined Beauty Insider (I've been a Sephora customer shopping online for years) and that I needed to spend more money to become VIB status when I already have reached my points quota to renew VIB status for 2024 as well. 
So I contacted the chat service on the Sephora app, and the assistant had to go and contact the Marketing team to manually remove me from the Beauty Insider email list and put me back into the VIB email list again.

The only reason I can think of the glitch happening is because on this community page side of the website it always shows I am a Beauty Insider on the top right when I hover over my account name/ profile picture - and even my status next to my name on posts/ replies always changes between VIB and Insider.
> Just a heads up if this happens for anyone else, it is something you have to request for them to fix!
[WILL UPDATE TOMORROW: I will have to wait for tomorrow to see if my email issue actually is resolved, but I did get the confirmation from the chat assistant my email list has been restored to the correct one]

So it turns out the original troubleshooting to add me back to the email lists have not worked, so I have has to task a customer service member to submit a form on their end to get me back on the email list, and I'll have to wait another 10 business days to check if it works this time.
