Unsuccessful Authorization Order

 My order says unsuccessful authorization

 

i placed an order yesterday, i received a confirmation email and my credit card has been charged. 

when i tried to track my order today i saw on my sephora account Order status: unsuccessful authorization - canceled 

 what does that mean? i didn't receive any email about my order being canceled so i don't know whats going on!

please help!

I have the same problem so whats the solution for it? what happened to your order did you get it or not? i also placed an order two days back and now i got an email saying  that my order is cancelled and my status is unsuccessful authorization. what does it mean?

I've had the same situation. I contacted customer service a few times and all I got is ''check with your bank''. I always use the same card for Sephora orders and most of time it works fine. So I don't think that's my bank's problem. Anyway based upon on the times that Ive had it I thinks the actual reason most likely is they run out of stock on something you ordered.

This has happened to both my daughter's account and mine every single order we've placed in the last 2 weeks.  Never got a cancellation e-mail just realized nothing was showing up and looked into it.  I'm furious.  We use different credit cards, both in perfect standing, ordered different things, and both of us are having "unsuccessful authorization" pop up every time.  Guess we'll take those hundreds of dollars elsewhere....
