Unsuccessful Authorization 5 times

I have tried to make an order 5 times since Monday. I only ever get the confirmation email and then when I go on to the website it shows as cancelled due to Unsuccessful Authorization. This is really disappointing especially because I need the order by this weekend and I have been trying all week to place it. I just placed it again on call with Sephora Customer Support. She said there is no guarantee it won't happen again?
