Unsuccesful Authorization

I've placed my order yesterday and the status is pending. I've checked the detail it said unsuccessful authorization. What does this mean? And does my credit card has been charged?

It means sephora has cancelled your order. You have not been charged, but there will be a pending charge on your card for a few days; it will drop off without going through.

Same thing happened to me!!!! The bank has taken my money and the order is cancelled. What should I do???? This is the worst customer service!!!!!!!!!!!! Im so mad!!!!!!!!

If it's not being charged then it's fine. But why it is canceled though? Thanks btw.
