Unable to place order

Hello, I'm trying to checkout on sephora using an American express giftcard. It's says I'm "unable to place your order. Please verify that your card information and billing address are correct. If applicable, we have reserved any pending charges to your account.

In fact, all my information is correct, billing address, name, and even the gift card information. I tried multiple times and it fails to go through. I need some help with purchasing, thank you.

Hi, I’m having the same or at least very similar issue. The message I get is “there may be errors with your payment information” but I’ve tried a couple different types and neither works.
