Stolen Gift Card

I recently recieved a gift card for Christmas and the gift card was recently stolen. I understand you will not honnor lost or stolen gift cards, however - It is unfortunate my mother purchased this for me and is now facing work without pay due to the government shutdown. Her money for this will now go to someone else. 

It would be appreciated if the individual trying to redeem my card would be declined.

I am truly sorry to hear about your gift card. Our gift cards cannot be replaced if lost and stolen and I am going to send you a message shortly. I also had to edit your post and remove the gift card number as well.

Hello @melissabt , a similar event just happened to me. I bought a gift card for my mom's birthday and it was stolen before I could give it to her. It was in an envelope with a filled out birthday card and everything so it's very devastating. If you can't honor a refund for stolen cards is there anything else you can do?? I at least want the person who stole the card not to be able to use it. Let me know how you can assist me. Thanks.
