Sephora order was cancelled and afterpay will not refund

i placed an order with Sephora through afterpay and immediately cancelled my order after realizing I did not add a promo code I meant to add. A few moments later, I made another order of the same items after realizing that I could not use a promo code I was wanting to use. I received a cancellation email from Sephora but after pay is stating that they will not drop the order until Sephora confirms. I’ve never had this problem with afterpay through any other company. Usually, as soon as it’s cancelled afterpay drops the payments. But now I’m being charged twice for a pretty large order right after Christmas. Someone please advise me on what to do or please help me rectify this because I really need this refund back.
