Sephora credit card not working, Comenity is no help

This has been going on since they banks changed. My card goes through then is immediately credited back to my account.

I emailed Comenity several times then finally got through to CS online and al they said was "we guess it's a glitch, try again in a few days"

So I'm paying on a card I can't use? I'm ready to cancel this whole thing.

Have you called Comenity? They’re a joke but maybe if enough of us call something will happen. I have late fees from when their site was down and it’s easier to eat them than fight but my card now legit just doesn’t work and my last message from them was “yes it does”. I swear I give up with this!

I'm so sorry for the trouble! Comenity is working to resolve all issues and I recommend contacting them by phone to learn if they have additional information to provide as to why the card is not working. Please call:

I contacted them by phone...again. Nothing is being done and I keep getting told the same thing and supposedly 3 cards have been sent out but haven't arrived. I was told today that maybe I need to look through my mail, gee why didn't i think of that. I know it's not a magic card that's going to appear in my hand just as I know non of those cards have arrived at my address which is correct on their end. So what's the issue? They sent out a 4th today not I won't hold my breath. If i can't use my card why do I even have it?

I've spoken to them twice on the phone and many times through email. They just say it's a "technical glitch" and have no answers or any offers to even attempt to help. At this rate I'm ready to cancel everything since it's been a MONTH and I'm paying a card I can't use with absolutely no explanation. 

I know Sephora CS is different from Comenity but somebody has to get this fixed. I hope Sephora corporate is putting pressure on the bank because I know a lot of people are angry and taking business elsewhere.

 

My card gives me perks and if it's not working I'll take my business to Ulta where my orders go through with no problem.

Same issue. Just closed my Sephora credit card account because it’s entirely unusable. That also makes the credit card rewards program they promote very misleading. You cannot ever use the rewards you earn because you have to use the Sephora credit card as payment method in order to apply the credit card rewards to a purchase. But Comenity never approves the card transactions. They’ve clearly known about the issue for YEARS. Seems like a class action waiting to happen.
