Scammed gift card

Hi there, just yesterday one of my close friends purchased 2 Sephora gift cards and some how got scammed into getting her gift card information with held from a scammer. They already made purchases off of the gift cards, but my friend is not sure what to do because she doesn’t know if the person used the gift cards in store or made online purchases. Is there any way to help my friend out?

@BrittanyBaez you can try posting in the Customer Service group but I doubt that there’s anything they can do. Gift cards are basically cash and there’s no way to “track” them or get refunded. How exactly did she get scammed?
