Same day delivery not delivered

Hello, I placed an order today right before 4pm for same day delivery and I got an order confirmation email as well that my order was on the way and I would get it by 8pm. But I never received anything, no confirmation email that it was delivered, no package yet. Since I paid for same day delivery, is there a way I can get that money back? Or should I just wait for tomorrow and see what happens? Confused since this is my first time using same day delivery with Sephora. Thanks
