Same day delivery never came - still processing

I placed a same-day delivery order yesterday, which never arrived. On my order details page, I see it's still processing.

I have a few questions:

• Could I get a refund for the delivery fee as it did not arrive yesterday as promised?
• What should I do now? Call the store where it will be fulfilled? I'm not going to be home all day today and I'm generally not feeling confident it will arrive at all.

I understand this is a new service and there are complications that come with that, but can somebody help set my expectations of what I can expect? I can go to a store in person next week, so if this order is unlikely to ever arrive, I'd like to cancel it.
