SEPHORA robson: do not shop for skincare unless you buy La Mer

I would like to warn others about some of the extremely rude staff at Sephora Robson St. The waited for 10 minutes in the skincare section with absolutely no acknowledgement from any staff. There was an associate who stood right next to me and completely ignored me even though she was just standing there with a headset on and didn't appear to be doing much of anything. When I tried to get her attention, she dismissed me with her hand and said she "You have to wait, I'm busy" in a very rude manner. It became very obvious then that she was more concerned with persuading an older lady to purchase a LA Mer product. Then, the same associate, still ignoring me, proceeded to serve another woman, taking her from stand to stand trying to sell her products. While I appreciate that staff may be busy assisting other clients, the fact that I was completely ignored when the associate was standing literally beside me with no one else in the aisle and that this associate could not be bothered to, at minimum, ask for another associate to help me, even though she was wearing a headset and had access to do so, was extremely off-putting. It seems pretty obvious that the associate decided I wasn't going to spend enough to make it worth her while. I do not recommend buying anything in the skincare department after this experience.
