@DianaLoveskin, I'm sorry to hear this, and appreciate you sharing this feedback with us. Points only expire after 12 months of no activity on a Beauty Insider account. Activity is considered redeeming a Rewards Bazaar item, claiming your Beauty Insider birthday gift or simply making a purchase online while logged into your account, or at any Sephora location within the US or Canada, and providing your Beauty Insider account information at checkout.

If you believe there has been a mistake, we will be happy to look into it further. It looks like your private messages are turned off, and you can adjust your preferences in your Community settings (on the browser only, not the app). If you would like to send me a private message with more information, I'll look into this.

This is one of the replies I received when speaking to the representatives over the phone about why after years, all of a sudden my points have been taken away WITHOUT ANY WARNING. @LaurieBT My private messages are actually very turned on, after I read all of these replies telling people that their private messages are off. I went and made sure to correct that prior to getting your message. The list of reasons that you are providing about why my accumulated points over 2,500 have all of a sudden been expired along with many of us loyal insider members is not a resolution. You are asking me to ONLY contact you just to let me know the same thing SOME representatives are saying to the clients complaining. “NOTHING CAN BE DONE IF THE ACCOUNT HOLDER HAS NOT DONE THE ABOVE WITHIN 12 MONTHS. Why is there absolutely no regard or exceptions if you had no idea this was happening since there are so many people upset by the same thing? Why was there no warning, as a fair thing to for costumers who have been loyal Sephora costumers for years. @LaurieBT without knowing my personal issue you already gave me a reason as to why my points “could’ve” been removed and now you want me to reach out to you just so that you can continue to explain to me the same thing. Another representative said it was actually 2 years.. you’re saying 12months. Either way, they are my points that I have accumulated for years in order to use them whenever I please. AGAIN the fact that SEPHORA IS UNWILLING TO GIVE BACK WHAT WE THE COSTUMERS HAVE EARNED all of a sudden GONE, is unacceptable. I bought Sephora merchandise to earn my credits. I chose to save them and now Sephora took them away, along with all the money I’ve spent. I am super disappointed. People be ware!!!!
