Racist staff at Crestview Hills, KY store

I took my biracial daughter to Sephora for her first time today. She’s young and has a cheer competition tomorrow. She had a small bruise on her face that she was feeling self conscious about, so I decided to take her in to pick out some concealer to help her feel more confident. Gabby approached us when we walked in and offered assistance. I let her know what we were there for. She tested maybe 5-10 different colors from two different brands and then told my daughter, “your skin tone is weird I can’t find a match.” That is seriously enough to traumatize a child. I did immediately correct her and said, “I think you mean her skin tone is unique but it’s absolutely not weird.” She didn’t apologize. She didn’t seem to even catch on to why I was bothered. My daughter has already struggled with feeling “different” because it’s just her and I. I am completely heartbroken for her and this experience. I really hope someone from Sephora can say something to fix this. Your staff should be trained to handle all skin colors, not just white people.
