[RESOLVED] Store credit card never given to customer

[RESOLVED] I went into a Sephora store to return a few things, some being out of the 30-day window. we agreed to have the entire return be store credit, since some things were within the window and some not, and store credit for all items would be simple. The sales associated told me it would be credited to my Sephora account and I left. When I went back to use it they said it’s not on my account and I should have received a physical card. What should I do? 

 

Can Sephora see which person helped me with the return in-store and ask them about it? My partner was with me and confirmed they never gave me a card. Can they see that a return was issued and the credit was never used by anyone?
