Promo items being cancelled from orders

Has anyone else had issues with the promo codes being cancelled from their orders? It's happened to me twice this month now and it's getting to be a very bad habit! Why can't they just replace it like they love to do with the smaller samples when they run out but still offer? It's getting frustrating!

I've had this happen to me once this month. I didn't reach out to customer service though. It would be nice to substitute
