Promo Code Not Working

I got an email for a 20% off code, but when I enter it I get this message: 

"Offer available to select Beauty Insider members. Must be logged in and purchase makeup to qualify. MAC Cosmetics VIVA GLAM items are excluded from this promotion."

 

I was trying to be a The Ordinary product and the code was sent directly to my email, so I don't see why it is not working. Can anyone help?
