Pending Order

I placed my order on NOV 10, it still showing pending on my order, and my Friend placed order on Nov 14, why is her order already in progress? and now some of product I ordered is out of stock, does it mean I have to wait more time till it back in stock? it makes me really anxious because I need to change the shipping address and the customer service won't let me change it (even It still pending) until I got the tracking number!
