Ordered Canceled Because Item “Out of Stock”

I ordered an item on Monday and received an email on Wednesday that my order was canceled because the item was “out of stock”. I’m looking now and the item is showing as in stock? Seems my order was canceled because the item was discounted when I purchased it, but now available when it’s full price again. In less than 2 days the item is “suddenly” back in stock and my order isn’t honored? Seems suspicious to me and based on some post I’ve seen this has happened to other people as well.

Same here. But I also received something I didn’t order and Sephora wants me to go to a FedEx location, package it at my expense and send it back!  Don’t offer a “sale” if you’re not going to honor it.
