No samples (in last three orders) SO FRUSTRATING

So frustrating - I understand that samples are often replaced with something else, etc. but my last three orders contained no samples; I went to the trouble to CHOOSE them and they showed up all the way thru' on my order, then - nothing.

 

I've often ordered the full size after trying a sample.  I have to say, Ulta, as well as DermStore, Paula's Choice, Rescue Spa all, do a fabulous job of including generous samples - again, resulting in many full size purchases. 

 

Sephora is complacent, just does not care about its custoemrs or has an 

ineffective fulfillment operation (or all three)

 

Resolving to order elsewhere.  Yes, it's a little thing but it's just so nice and fun to receive samples.

Same thing has been happening to me. At least two recent orders with ZERO samples. I’ve been a rouge for a couple of years (and a VIB for a while before that). I am so tired of being screwed out of everything. I earn Rouge status for the next year usually by March-April, yet don’t feel appreciated as a customer. I collect piles of points yet never get even a chance at the higher point items because I work and can’t sit on the computer at work waiting for the items to be posted so there can be a feeding frenzy over them for three minutes. I went to get the YSL 500 point item tonight, added it to my basket, go through Paypal but, at final checkout, oh, it’s out of stock. I see where people are always getting items to test drive for them as well (the KvD lipsticks recently), but I’m never included. (I buy KvD from Sephora all the time-bought no less than 10 of the lipsticks when they were on sale. Forget the ones I had already bought!) How is it some people seem to score all the stuff and I can’t even get da** samples? I’m worn out with being disrespected as a longtime customer (I’ve been buying very frequently from Sephora since 2003/2004).

Just got an order with no samples. You’d think with the near daily threads on this issue they’d ask their packing and fulfillment department to be a bit more thorough

I agree; I just had ANOTHER order arrive without samples, on top of recent orders that had cancelled products, cancelled promo codes, and even a cancelled Rewards Bazaar order! What’s the point of having “perks” like sample, promo codes, and rewards if customers won’t actually get them?? I’ve started purchasing from the other companies you’ve mentioned, and I also recommend Nordstrom - free shipping and great samples. Hope you have more sample success in the future!!
