No response to email, promised credit by phone, still no credit or response!

I placed an order 9/2/2018 and immediately after submitting the order, I realized I didn't include the VIB 15% off code, which was the only reason I was placing an order in the first place.  I immediately called Sephora, and the male customer service agent said he couldn't apply the discount to the order I just placed (why not I do not know) but said he would issue me a store credit.  He actually said even though I was VIB, he could give me the Rouge discount of 20% off, so I was pleased.  I was supposed to receive a credit of $8.40.  It has been nearly a month later, and still no credit.  I made another purchase in the Tacoma Mall store on 9/15/2018 for $55.00 and they didn't have a record of my credit or do anything to resolve it.  Why is Sephora's customer service continuing to go downhill?  It is unbelievable that you would promise a credit but not follow through, that the store couldn't make it right, and Sephora doesn't respond to emails.  I also wrote to request a price adjustment for the order I placed right before the VIB 15% coupon came out, and didn't even receive a response.  I don't feel like an appreciated customer.

I'm sorry for any confusion! Upon review, the store credit is still available on your Sephora account. This credit does not have an expiration date, and will automatically apply towards your next online order. Please keep in mind that this credit may only be used online.
