No Hello

My name is Key. I came into your store on Wednesday to purchase fenty foundation and matchstick. I don’t complain at all or much. I typically buy what I need and I leave. I mind my business. I go to this particular Sephora because it’s closer to my home. I prefer in store vs online but after this last visit I may shop online. I have worked retail and customer service for 10+years so I know the good and bad of customers and how to treat them. The 1 thing I know is letting a customer know that you see them. Even if you’re busy with a customer. I don’t look attractive or hot on my day off. I look pretty basic. So I was excited to replace a few items I had ran out on. As I walk in immediately in front of me is a tall back woman with short hair and a military jacket on. She looked very nice but didn’t even speak to me. Passed me by like I didn’t exist. I stood in the corner till a nice girl by the name of Mary spoke to me and helped me select my items. My issue is no one spoke to me at all. And that bothers me. After everything we have been through as a people I would think that we would have grown in some way. We haven’t and that little small interaction reminded me that a Hi or Hello goes a long way. I’m not looking for anything. I just want to be treated better next time should I go back.
