Negative experience in-store

I went into a Houston-area store and for

the first time had a really unpleasant experience. FIVE different employees approached asking if I needed help which made me feel rushed and like I was being watched the entire time. When I touched a tester (completely forgot the COVID rules) an employee came over and sternly chastised me and said she would grab the product for me if I wanted to buy it (which I did as a holiday gift). She repeated the policy over and over as if I was dumb. I rarely leave home during the pandemic, and I honestly wasn’t thinking about protocols in the store beyond wearing a mask and keeping a distance from others. It left me feeling really unsettled especially as I’m a loyal customer and spend a good amount of money there annually as VIB Rouge. I usually have a really positive experience in the store with employees. I’m sure it’s tough for them under these conditions and being put in the position to enforce the rules. perhaps a sign right when walking in the store would help. There are signs above each display but I’m so tall that when I bend down to look at the products (they’re so low!) I don’t notice those display signs.
