Missing tamper proof packaging from online Sephora order

Hi, I ordered the PTR turbo lashes to die for eyelash treatment from Sephora online and it was delivered without any tamper proof plastic around it or shrink wrap around the tube or even tape on either flap on the box. Is that normal for Sephora or PTR products? It seems to me that if it was bought in a store it would either have some sort of tamper proof packaging or be encased in plastic with one of those cardstock backings. I’m afraid to use this on my eyes not knowing if it’s been used or opened already. I sent an email to Sephora asking about it, but they said they didn’t know if it is supposed to come that way or not. Thanks for any information you can give.
