Missing Samples, Birthday Gift, Products???

Let me start this by introducing myself. I've been a die-hard Sephora fan since the early 2000s. I have thousands of Beauty Insider points and a long list of products I buy from Sephora exclusively. This year has been a major disappointment. Half of my regular products are out of stock or only in stock for the sample sizes in both stores and online. My last order was at the end of November in hopes that I can also include my birthday gift. I could not order it, because the buttons under all Birthday gifts were greyed out. I figured, whatever, I can live with that. When I received my order I realized that I didn't get my 2 free samples either. Usually when what I picked is out of stock it is replaced by another sample, but not this time. Nothing. I just spent $250 and you could not even throw a free sample in? I am so disappointed to see my favorite store underperform so badly. This used to be my happy place and now it feels like trying to shop from a drugstore if not worse. I don't know what's causing this, but I will definitely reconsider where I'm getting my cosmetics from in the future if something does not change.
