Luxury play box points not working

I was at Sephora in JCP last night and tried to redeem my luxury Play pass. The associate could scan my regular play pass but not my luxury one. What do I need to do to get those points?

may i ask how did you receive a luxury play box point car...

may i ask how did you receive a luxury play box point card? i purchased the luxury play boxes but do not remember getting the points card with them.

It came in email to my Beauty Insider email address. I didn’t expect it, and if the first luxury box had one, I missed it. I just ordered the new one and that listing says that you will get a pass via email (at some point but I’m not sure when).
