Lost points /lost customer

Used 500 points to “try out” a foundation brush. Was not informed that I would lose my points if I returned the brush. Tried to exchange the brush for something of equal value and was still told no. TERRIBLE policy. I will be shopping at Ulta and Amazon now!

Hi @RegalOne If you applied $10 BI Cash toward the purchase, neither the 500 Beauty Insider Points deducted from your Beauty Insider account or the $10 discount will be refunded. Exchanges of the same item will be credited for the full transaction value including the $10 discount.

You expect your customers to read fine print like this? Where is common sense, professionalism and basic decency as a business? If Ulta, and all your competitors, can provide refund on points, i am sure Sephora can too. Stop the policy BS!

Hi, I'm going through a same situation, where I lost two of my $100 cash rewards. 

It wouldn't apply both at the same time during the check out.

 

At the end of the day, we are using our rewards, that we EARNED, after spending money at Sephora. It's sad to see that Sephora shows 0 flexibility where all of their competitors do. 

"I'm sorry" just doesn't cut it when we earned those points. I feel you
