Lost package and completely disappointed response from Sephora

I placed replicate orders and return one of the packages without opening the box yet which is worth $1000 dollars. I returned the package on the AUG 5 2022, and the package has been received and still be on the way until Oct 10 without any tracking update. I doubt the package is lost on the way. I tried to contact Sephora. The first time, they responded will refund my money within 48 hours. However, after a week of waiting, I still have not received my money. I tried contacting them again. They responded me due to the large amount money of in this order, they will not return the money until they received the return package. they mentioned the estimated delivery day will be Oct 27 and let me contact FedEx. Excuse me? you guys generated the return label for me. Until right now, which is Oct 30. the package has not been received yet, and I have not received any update for it. It has been 3 months in total, and I am very unsatisfied with how Sephora deals with this issue.
