Lolita Palette not really “in stock” at local stores

I’ve been on the hunt for the KVD lolita palette and according to Sephora’s website pretty much every store in a 25 range from me has it in stock. After going to the closest store that said it was “in stock” without even taking the time to look the associate said bluntly to me “we don’t have that.” After heading to the car i decided to call every other sephora that had it “in stock” just to be told things like “shipments haven’t been unpacked” “no we don’t have it” “call back tomorrow” and so on. 

 

Why is the website site informing me EVERY sephora should have what i’m looking for when in fact NONE of them do. It’s infuriating especially when the website claims to have an update on the stock from “three hours ago”
