LOST PACKAGE, RUDE CS.

Not sure if I’m posting this to the right place but I need help! 

 I ordered a large package from Sephora as a birthday gift to myself. Excitedly waited for it and today it was marked as delivered but not there. Looked in mail room, went to the building next door, looked at security footage with the concierge and nothing. Called sephora customer service who confirmed it lost, and tried to get me a refund so I could go in person to buy my items, and nothing. 

Transferred me to supervisor who confirmed it lost but said I did not meet the “criteria” for getting a refund.

 

The order was nearly $900. Supervisor Kauai was rude and unhelpful, basically telling me I was out 900$ and should take it up with the carrier. 

any experience this? Is there anything I can do?

Same thing happening to me, I just file a claim with UPS. Am hoping to get a replacement
