Kiehl’s Eye cream came with no seal

My Kiehl’s avocado eye cream arrived today, and there was no protective paper seal over the actual product to peel off. Nothing to ensure it’s new and safe to use. I’ve bought this before and I’m pretty sure this isn’t normal. I even looked it up online via images. I’m a bit worried to use mine, or trust getting it from Sephora if it’s possible this was tampered with or somehow used. Thanks in advance for any help.
