In person return , for an online order

I made an online order during Covid 19, and I want to return it in- person when stores reopen. How many days after Sephora stores re- open can I drop off my returns for a refund? is it 30 or 60 days?

Hi @joycelololo, at this time there are not any additional return policies put in place to allow online orders to be returned in-store when they reopen.  Right now online orders can be returned back to our warehouse within 60 days for a full refund.  Please note we offer a return label that will cover the cost of shipping with USPS and you can leave your package to be picked up with your daily mail or you can request a pickup if you don't have a secure place to leave the return.  Be sure to keep an eye out on our returns page for any updates that we make during this time: https://www.sephora.com/beauty/returns-exchanges

Does the return have to be shipped in the 60 day window or received in the 60 day window? The issue is that all post offices are backed up right now so if the package arrives at the Sephora warehouse in 65 days instead of 60, do we lose that return?

The post offices aren’t as backed up as you think. I just shipped a return on May 8th & it was delivered to Sephora on May 14th. Refund was issued today.

To ease returns for online orders, we have adjusted our current 30-day return policy and increased it to 120 days from purchase date to be returned to the original method of payment. I hope that this helps.

Where is this information published regarding 120 days? I just went to the returns page and it still states 60 days:

I would prefer to return the item I ordered on 4/21 to a store whenever they reopen since I have had bad experiences in the past with mailing items back to Sephora. The last time this happened it took about 1.5 weeks to be delivered within the return period, and then another 2+ weeks to "process," so they destroyed the item and refused to refund me. If the deadline truly is 120 days I would like to see that published to ease my mind in mailing the item(s) back now (the additional months will probably be needed to process the return).

I'm with you, I can't even print their return labels. Sephora online return methods are not trustworthy. I also know this from experience.  Why can't Sephora just enact more flexibility in their online return policy in the same way as stores like Bloomingdales and Uniqlo who understand the hurdles we out here have to jump through in order to just return anything by mail...people can't print labels, etc. Those stores are allowing all online returns to be made to stores within 30 days of those stores opening. Easy. That's fair, and it respects the troubles that their clients are experiencing out here. None of us brought on Covid. None of us wanted our lives to stop. Some of us even lost our income bc of something we had no part of putting into place in the first place.
